The Allied Mobile Force is one of three units that are commanded by the player in the campaign Fatal Error, they are first involved in a deep-strike operation by NATO to kill the commanding officers of the Warsaw Pact troops behind the Czechoslovakian border who are preparing for a major offensive.
Later, they are tasked with holding the line against a Warsaw Pact attempt to relieve the besieged city of Dresden together with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment and the 29th Panzerbrigade .
