Well, it's been nearly a month and a half since we had a new poll, and a lot of information has been released from Eugen and Focus recently.

Today, Eugen and Focus release a trailer dedicated to the naval support units of Wargame: Red Dragon, similar to the trailer they did for the aircraft in Wargame: AirLand Battle.

Eugen and Focus on the official website stated that Wargame: Red Dragon is now available for pre-ordering. Those who pre-order will have access, in the coming days, to the game’s Beta Early Access version. Those who own Wargame: AirLand Battle will be granted a special discount of 25% for pre-ordering.

    • Pre-Purchase Wargame: Red Dragon on Steam
    • Pre-order on the official website

Hey there, this is your admin Privatejfx141. It has been a hiatus since I been on this wiki, and the polls haven't been changed in 4 months (apologies).

Anyway, to the news. At Gamescom 2013 three days ago (apologies for being late on the news), Eugen Systems has confirmed the third Wargame in development:

    Wargame: Red Dragon

Like the last two Wargames, Red Dragon will be set during the Cold War but it will be set a decade after its predecessors, in East Asia. The confirmed nations are the United States, the Soviet Union, China, Japan, North Korea, and South Korea, though there might be a possible return of some of the original NATO nations. There will be amphibious units (BMDs confirmed!!!) with the possibility of naval units, making the tota…

It features 4 new maps, including a redesigned favorite from European Escalation, new units, and as the name suggests, with a focus on more infantry units. The minor NATO factions have many new units, with dependable infantry, better AA support units and new aircraft. Though,  you will see new units from every faction and class. New MBT's, recon, vehicles and helicopters will appear.

Also, you can now play the entire campaign with a friend, with the new introduced co-op.

Conquest is now back! Time for more rushing!

    All this, for completely FREE!

To install the new DLC, or more appropiriately, update, all you need to do is launch your Steam client and update …

Since the introduction of the new UnitBox template met with positive reception yesterday, the new template has now been implemented on all unit pages. The Units section of the Wargame Wiki is now going under a massive overhaul to fix and adjust to the new template.

I also added new arsenal navboxes of factions that originally appeared in Wargame: European Escalation and I'm planning to change the wiki categorization of the units, which will take a lot of work, so I apologize for any inconvenience.

Time to change the poll since Wargame: AirLand Battle already released several months ago.

Here are the results from our eighth poll: Which new nation do you look forward the most to playing in WALB? :

    • Sweden - 54
    • Canada - 31

    WC Round 3

    December 14, 2012 by Privatejfx141

Hello there, this is your admin, Privatejfx141. On December 11, 2012, the Wargame Cup has reached Round 3 of the tournament with less than 500 to 300 players remaining (am I right with the calculations?).

You guys probably seen that on Round 2 of this championship, two players, Sotek and Crotou, two well-known, high-ranked celebrities of Wargame’s community, had a major confrontation match. In the end Sotek won with a score of 1200 points, against Crotou with a score of 1100. You may want to see their post match interview and the match replay to see the confrontation of the two skilled commanders on the links below:

I clearly don't know how this works, but I thought it was very unpractical you could not see an overview of a map like you could in RUSE so I took a screenshot of all the maps in game like this. According to Destructoid, there will be "improvements to the IRISZOOM Engine, a new Urban Combat Interface for battles within cities, and an upgraded Deck system for army customizing in single- and multiplayer." Wargame: AirLand Battle, along with many other strategy games, will be released next year, in 2013.

    Third Polls

    May 23, 2012 by Privatejfx141

Here are the results from our third poll: What is your favorite Main Battle Tank?:

    T-55/KPz T-55 --- None

    T-62 --- None

    T-64A/T-64B --- None

    T-80 --- 6

    AMX-30B --- None

    Challenger 1 --- 4

    Chieftain Mk2/Mk5/Mk10 --- 1

    Leopard 1/Leopard 2 --- 10

    M1 Abrams --- 7

    M60A1 Patton --- None

    M60A2 Starship --- None

    M60A3 Patton --- None

    MBT-70/KPz-70 --- 2

As of May 23, 2012, 30 people voted.

I might post this poll up again to separate the Leopard 1 and Leopard 2 selection since both tanks aren't that very similar in specification and weapons, and I might remove the MBT-70/KPz-70 selection because these tanks are prototype tanks.

Again for this wiki, we still need more contributers! Over the past month, the wiki only managed to get two anonymous contributes besides me (the admin).

Several changes to the wiki that I made it much more like the RUSE wiki:

    • Added Template:Specs (alot similar to the RUSE wiki's Template:Unit)
    • Might add Template:Weapons (Already did)
    • Will add a History to each of the Units articles
    • Will add a Factions page
