Hayate is a Japanese Prototype Command Jeep that appears in The Millionth Mile DLC of Wargame: Red Dragon.

Toyata created the High Mobility Vehicle in 1995. The High Mobility Vehicle is a large, heavy-duty vehicle resembling the Humvee design. Like the Humvee, the Japanese Self Defense Force used the High Mobility Vehicle as a infantry transport and a weapon carrier. The commerical version is the Mega Cruiser.

The Hayate is a slight upgrade over the Mitsubishi CV, bringing better offroad speed. Like other 110-point jeeps, the Hayate is one of the cheapest, and one of the most highly-available CVs available. This can give the player longevity in matches, particularly in gametypes like conquest where CV availability has greater importance. It is wheeled, with a fair offroad speed, making it good for taking capture points close to spawn. However, despite these benefits, the Hayate is a very weak 0-armor vehicle with no weaponry for defense, making it very vulnerable to just about anything, from artillery to bombs to infantry.
