History[]
The MiG-23BN is a single-engine, single-seat, variable-geometry wing fighter produced by Mikoyan-Gurevich for the Soviet Air Force. The MiG-23BN (NATO Reporting Name: FLOGGER-H) was based on the MiG-23B "FLOGGER-F" ground attack aircraft, and first flew in 1973. The type received the same engine as its contemporary fighter variants, the R-29-300, compared to the AL-21 which powered the MiG-23B. The MiG-23B series' strike roll required several redesigns from the fighter/interceptor configuration of the M-series. As such, the MiG-23B/BN have a cropped nose and higher seat for better visibility, up-armored windscreen, and no radar.

The speed isn't the best but it is very close, the MiG-23BN is vulnerable to both enemy SAMs and AAMs.
